What is Sculptra?
Sculptra is an injectable, poly-L-lactic acid, primarily used for facial rejuvenation and the treatment of wrinkles and facial volume
loss. It works by stimulating the production of collagen, a protein thatl
helps provide structure and support to the skin. As we age, the
production of collagen decreases, leading to the formation of wrinkle\
and loss of facial volume. By injecting Sculptra into specific areas of
the face, it helps stimulate collagen production, resulting in a gradual
increase in skin thickness and improvement in the appearance of
wrinkles and folds.
How long does Sculptra last?
Unlike some other fillers that provide immediate results, Sculptra works gradually over time. Multiple treatment sessions are usually required, spaced several weeks apart, to achieve the desired outcome. The results of Sculptra injections can last up to two years or longer, depending on the individual.
